Our hospital supports stem cell reconstruction and treatment for low-income,
incurable burn patients that are left in medical blind spots around the world.

  • Plastic Surgery

    is more like a procedure to satisfy aesthetic needs, rather than a “treatment.”

    Of course, that’s mostly the purpose of plastic surgery.
    But for someone, restoring a very small appearance can create great happiness.
    And sometimes, it treats the heart, which is the hardest to treat.

    Until patients restore their appearance and mind to before the accident,
    JK’s research and treatment continues.

Tragic accident known throughout Malaysia.
An acid attack by a mentally ill father. For Tan Hui-rin, who suffered terrible burns on her entire body, JK supports stem cell therapy more than twice a year.

Since2012 ~ Vietnam, Bu Kohk lin

5-year-old boy whom I met during the medical service in Vietnam.
Kohk lin, who suffered severe burns to the point of falling into a coma which was caused by a fire his father had set, underwent dozens of operations and treatment in Vietnam, but it didn’t work.
JK continues to provide various types of support, including surgery, education and life, until Kohk lin grows up.

Aisha, who has a single-parent family in Kazakhstan.

Since2014 ~ Myanmar, Eae-ung

In 2006, a burn accident caused by a sulfuric acid attach by her husband’s lover.
She suffered severe burns on her scalp, face and arms and underwent four surgeries, but she is still in serious condition.
After hearing about Eae-ung’s story through World Vision and the Korea Institute for Health Industry Promotion, JK started supporting through the incurable burn reconstructive surgery using stem cells.

Since2017 ~ China, Zou Zien-yi

Bus explosion in Shanghai, China, in 2008
At that time, Ms. Zou Zien-yi, who was in the bus, suffered severe burns of 2-3 degrees on about 57 percent of her body.
She received about 50 treatments for the burns in China for 9 years, but serious scars on her face and hands remained. And there was still a trauma from the accident. For about 10 years, JK Plastic Surgery has been supporting Zou Zien-yi in continuous incurable reconstruction and treatment.
