such as the achievements of attracting foreign patients, the status of specialist manpower, and contribution to domestic medical service development, and company workflow.

This designated medical institution for attracting foreign patients
assessment criteria includes an infection control system based on that of the JCI(Joint Commission International),
evaluations related to patient safety, results of patient visits from abroad (number of visits), specialized services for foreign patients,
complaint-handling processes, insurance for foreign patients, etc.
The criteria also includes specialized services to foreign patients which are not included in the JCI.
Especially, as a world-class medical institution evaluation system that only certifies institutions that are able to
pass items directly related to patient safety such as infection control, foreign patient insurance, etc,
it has strict regulations that assure hospitals which have incidences such as patient death or other social issues are unqualified to apply. -
